format: CD - date: July 21st 2009

"Wretch" is brought to you in partnership with Cipher Productions and represents a journey through the mind of Andrew Grant, aka The Vomit Arsonist. A decidedly personal and unnerving recording, "Wretch" was written during a period of mental instability that lasted nearly two years. The result is a release that bleeds raw emotion: loss, hatred, self-loathing, and reflection; starting at rock bottom with waves of dark ambiance and quietly spoken words, moving further into the depths of a tortured mind. The result is a gradual advance into forceful, vengeful power electronics.

On The Vomit Arsonist, Bauke van der Wal writes: "In between the two mountains - one loaded with verbal and sonic violence, the other one spitting out pure, burning emotion - hangs a bridge made of rott^ing wood and selfmade ropes. This bridge was carefully built by Andrew Grant AKA The Vomit Arsonist who developed this stable yet delicate structure to be able to travel the distance seperating the volcanoes.

In addition to his work under the alias The Vomit Arsonist, Andrew is a member of Bereft, Nau-Zee-auN, and Thee Virginal Brides, and often collaborates live with Metropolis recording artist Terrorfakt and FON's synnack.
